Weddings are often portrayed as extravagant gatherings of family and friends. But there’s a certain intimacy in a quiet elopement, especially when done on a beautiful mountain above the clouds.
Tia and Mark decided to have their ceremony on Haleakala way before they have even visited.
We drove through the winding road, trying to beat the sunset. After about an hour of rain, we safely arrived at our ceremony site.
The sky was vast and clear, painted with the pastel colors of the sunset.
We stepped out into the cold air and took in the serene view.
It felt like time stood still here.
The view reserved just for them.
It wasn’t just a spot on top of a mountain above the clouds with an epic view, it was a place to be close. To be together.
